When is the best time to schedule a newborn photo session?
Newborns are often sleepiest and most cooperative in the first two weeks of life, so we suggest scheduling your session within this timeframe if possible.

Can family members be included in the photos?
Absolutely! We encourage parents and siblings to participate in the session to capture those special family moments.

What should I bring for my newborn photo session?
We recommend bringing along any special props or accessories you'd like included in the photos, such as blankets, toys, or sentimental items.
In addition, outfits for the family (see the next question), dummy, bottle and snack for baby (and siblings), spare nappies and favourite or new toys for attracting older siblings' attention.

What should I wear for my newborn photo session?

For newborn - I have you covered

For mum - white strapless or off the shoulder tops or dresses. I have a growing client’s wardrobe you can use if you don’t have a suitable outfit.

For dad - plain white t-shirt or shirt with no prints or logo, and light colour shorts or pants.

For siblings - matching with mum and dad.

Is there anything I should consider on the day of the photoshoot?
To help ensure a smooth session, try to feed your baby shortly before departing your home, and soon after you arrive at the studio to keep them content and sleepy. Bringing along any soothing items your baby prefers, such as pacifiers or favourite blankets, can also be helpful.

What will my session be like?
During your newborn studio photo session, our goal is to capture timeless and beautiful images of your precious newborn. Sessions are relaxed and baby-led, allowing plenty of time for feeding, changing, and soothing as needed.

We'll start by discussing any preferences or special requests you may have for the session. Then, we'll guide you through the process, helping to position your newborn in adorable poses while ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
Feel free to bring along any special props or accessories you'd like included in the photos, such as blankets, toys, or sentimental items. We also have a variety of props available in the studio for you to choose from.

Throughout the session, we'll work at a pace that's comfortable for both you and your baby, taking breaks as needed for feeding, cuddling, and soothing. Our goal is to create a relaxed and enjoyable experience for everyone involved, resulting in beautiful images that you'll cherish for a lifetime."

How long will the photo session be?
The duration of the session can vary depending on several factors, including your baby's temperament, feeding and comforting needs, and any specific requests or setups we're aiming to achieve. On average, newborn studio photo sessions typically last between 2 to 3 hours.

We allocate ample time to ensure we capture a variety of poses, expressions, and setups, while also allowing for breaks as needed for feeding, changing, and soothing. We prioritise your baby's comfort and well-being throughout the session, so we're flexible and patient to accommodate their needs.

What happens if my newborn is fussy or doesn't cooperate during the session?
Don't worry! We understand that babies can be unpredictable. We'll work patiently to soothe your baby and capture beautiful moments, even if it takes extra time.

What if we are not well on the day?
If you or your newborn are not feeling well on the day of the scheduled session, it's important to prioritise your health and well-being. Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to reschedule. We understand that circumstances can change, and we want to ensure that everyone is comfortable and healthy for the session. We're happy to work with you to find a new date and time that works best for your family.

Does the Session Fee include any digital or printed photos?
The session fee covers the cost of the studio session itself, including the time and expertise of our photographer, as well as any props, outfits or equipment used during the session. However, it does not include any printed or digital photos.

Instead, we offer three packages that include different numbers of edited digital and printed photos. These packages are designed to provide you with flexibility and options based on your preferences and budget. You can choose the package that best suits your needs, and additional prints or products can be purchased separately if desired.

When do I let you know my photo package preference?
We recommend discussing your photo package preference either when you schedule your session or at the beginning of your session. This way, we can ensure that we capture the images you desire and tailor the session accordingly. If you're unsure which package is right for you, don't worry! We're happy to discuss your options and help you choose the package that best fits your needs and preferences. Feel free to ask any questions you may have, and we'll guide you through the process every step of the way.

How do I get the printed photos?
Our package options encompass high-quality prints sized at 5x7". Upon receipt of your personalised, password-protected Final gallery, you will also receive a coupon equivalent to the number of 5x7" prints included in your chosen package. This coupon provides you with flexibility; you can opt to order one print per final image or select multiple prints for specific images, adjusting as desired. Moreover, you have the freedom to choose different print sizes if preferred.

Furthermore, through the same gallery store, you can order additional photo prints in various sizes and other products. All you need to do is to redeem the couple and cover the final balance, and we'll handle the shipping fee at no additional cost to you.

How long does it take before I see my photos?
You will receive an email with link within 2 weeks post your photo session to view your personalised and password protected Preview gallery. The photos there are slightly edited. You can choose your favourites from your personalised gallery. The fully edited images will be available to you your Final gallery within 2 weeks once your favourites are confirmed.

Do I get any digital or printed photos?
Absolutely! We offer three packages that include digital and printed photos. Our options include high-quality prints in 5x7" photo size. A coupon will be sent to you Additionally, you can order more photo prints in various sizes and other products through the gallery store. All prints and products are done through a professional photo lab in Australia, and they are delivered within 1-4 weeks after you have placed your order. If you would like to discuss any customisation, please let us know, and we'll be happy to assist you further!

When will I get my printed photos or product?
All prints and products are produced by a professional photo lab in Australia, and they are delivered directly to you within 1-4 weeks after you have placed your order through the gallery.

What is the payment process?
Normally, there are two invoices:

A Session Fee invoice will be sent to you to secure your booking soon after we have arranged a date and time for your photo session.

Upon receiving your Preview gallery, we will confirm with you on your photo package preference. An invoice for your chosen photo package will then be sent to you.
​We only receive direct transfer at present. The online gallery store accepts credit card payment.
